AJPER is there to save the remaining of Madagascar's forest and to combat climate change. 90% of Malagasy households use wood charcoal and firewood in their kitchen. Charcoal and firewood are taken or produced from the forest. To reduce the use of those fuels, AJPER proposes stoves that consume less charcoal but keep the energy efficiency. We are improving those stoves so that its production will not create another problem for the environment.
